The Night Crawler 2.60 MH has been specially designed for fishing with hardbaits/crankbaits for zander from the shore. Because the (hard) bites in this fishery often come from just below your feet (for example, against a rockfill or groyne), the top of the rod is dampened enough to ensure that the hook is not immediately released.
